FAA Knowledge Testing Centers

The FAA Part 107 aeronautical knowledge test is administered through an authorized third-party testing provider — PSI Exams. Testing centers are separate from Drone Training School training facilities.

Florida has multiple approved testing center locations in the Miami metropolitan area, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and additional cities. Candidates may select any testing center nationally.

  • Exam fee: $175 per attempt
  • Government-issued photo ID required on exam day
  • Schedule directly through the PSI portal
  • Results provided immediately upon test completion
  • No connection to DTS facilities — candidates book independently
